KJ

Chief Executive & Chairman Of The Board

KJ is an NHS PM & Consultant and leading crisis management expert for health and social care across the United Kingdom and frequently advises organisations on how to improve operations and patient safety. A former care home leader with a proven track record of turning around failing services across the UK. Starting his career in accountancy and rising through the ranks from carer to senior healthcare leader, he brings a rare combination of frontline experience, operational leadership, and financial oversight. KJ has led multiple GP surgeries and care homes to safety, stability, and regulatory success turning them around —always placing patients and residents at the centre. He has also served as Safeguarding/Child Protection Lead in every practice he’s managed, and as Financial Director of a major city MIND charity, where he protected essential mental health services. As a Power of Attorney and carer, he brings lived experience to every decision. KJ founded The Community Impact Project to champion safer, fairer communities—and continues to lead with purpose, compassion, and action.

Aaron

Board Director & Advisor


Aaron is a highly experienced Security Manager with a strong focus on community safety and leadership. He brings a proven ability to develop and implement strategies that make communities safer and more resilient. Aaron’s work is guided by a deep commitment to public service, and he actively engages with local stakeholders to address challenges and promote positive change.

Having faced personal life challenges and navigated his own mental health journey, Aaron understands firsthand the importance of resilience, wellbeing, and support. He is a passionate advocate for the power of exercise and healthy lifestyle choices as tools for mental health and community strength.

Taryll

Board Finance Director

A dedicated Finance Director and champion of transparency, accountability, and good governance. He ensures that The Community Impact Project continues to grow sustainably while maximising the impact of every pound spent. With a keen eye for financial planning, risk management, and strategic development, Taryll enables the organisation to expand community provisions and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Having faced his own life challenges, Taryll understands the importance of resilience, mental wellbeing, and a balanced approach to professional and personal life. He is a firm believer in the power of structure, planning, and healthy routines to drive both organisational success and personal growth.

James

Director Of Youth Engagement

ames is a passionate advocate for young people and a key leader in our End Knife Crime & Support The Youth campaign. With over five years of professional experience in mental health and trauma therapy, he specialises in working with young people facing complex challenges, offering support grounded in empathy, trust, and lived experience. Having personally experienced the impact of trauma and the loss of a close friend to knife crime, James brings authenticity and deep understanding to his role. He uses this to mentor at-risk youth, build strong relationships, and guide them toward safer, more hopeful futures. James is also an active campaigner who uses social media to engage in real, honest conversations with victims, families, and the wider community—making sure their voices are heard and their stories never forgotten. His presence online and in-person has become a source of strength and connection for many..

Nicole

Director of Health, Workplace and Family

Nicole brings extensive experience in management across health and workplace environments, combining operational expertise with a compassionate, people-centred approach. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams, managed complex projects, and implemented initiatives that improve wellbeing, productivity, and support for individuals in both professional and personal contexts.

Nicole’s personal experience of caring for loved ones has shaped her understanding of the practical and emotional challenges faced by families, friends, and those in the community. This insight informs her approach to leadership, ensuring policies and programmes are realistic, supportive, and centred on human needs.

In her role as Director of Health, Workplace and Family, Nicole works closely with the Chief Executive to develop and oversee initiatives that promote wellbeing, resilience, and positive outcomes for families, friends, and community members. Her leadership ensures that the organisation not only delivers effective services but does so with empathy, integrity, and a focus on long-term impact.


Margaret

Non Executive Advisory Director

former office worker with experience across various sectors, Margaret has long been a voice for fairness, equality, and the fight against discrimination. She continues to be a dedicated advocate for families and communities.

Margaret will provide support and advice to our Chief Executive.

Jimmy

Non Executive Advisory Director

A former lecturer and lifelong champion of families and communities, Jimmy has dedicated his career to advocating for the rights and wellbeing of families across Scotland.

Jimmy will provide support and advice to our Chief Executive.

Kasey

Director of Communications & Media Relations

Kasey joined The Community Impact Project following the devastating loss of her 16-year-old nephew, Kayden, to knife violence. She channels her grief into powerful advocacy—using her voice, creativity, and lived experience to raise awareness and drive meaningful change. As Director of Communications, Kasey leads our public messaging, social media strategy, and campaign visibility. She plays a key role in shaping how we engage with the public and inspire action. Her strength, empathy, and determination not only honour Kayden’s memory but help build a safer future for every young person. Her work reminds us why our campaign matters—and why we won’t stop until change is achieved.

Our efforts have truly made a visible difference in East Kilbride’s community safety.
